My passion for art is a continuous journey...
1983 began my art & business career with the purchase of a boutique floral shop. 20 years later my medium transferred from flowers to pastels and thus began my fine art career. I went on to create a retail art gallery, twice...first as a business I went on to sell and then as a consultant. I have taken the role of both juror and curator of events and shows.
Currently my days are filled with art making, exploring my own aesthetic in color and line. I have had the privilege of studying in New York with the Master of Pastel Wolf Kahn. I have also been influenced by studying with Dawn Emerson, Marla Bagetta and Frank Federico.
My interests also reach deeply into the business of art. I find myself to be most content with a balance of creating and actively engaging in art marketing.
Just as life presents unexpected twists and turns, so does the journey of art making.
